An American Citizen Talks About His Presidents

My Talkative American Friend Once Said:

One serious thing is that, we, American citizens, often send clear unspoken messages when choosing a president. We vote for a particular candidate because his name implicitly or explicitly bears what we have in mind and what we want him to do for us. For example, we appointed Barack Obama, not for the reason that he is the best we’ve had for the president of the United States, but rather we want him to draw our soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan and then station them in their barracks.

Before, we had the Bushes who, as their names suggest, tended to beat around the bush when solving problems. They are both the late Sadam’s biggest enemies. Rather than challenging Sadam to a duel, as sensible gentlemen would do, they bombarded Iraq, destroying the whole Baghdad, the city of cultural heritage, and killing hundreds of innocent people. So my advice to you is that: the next time there is a fly or a rat in your house, never ever use the Bushes’ services to chase it away, or you yourself will be driven away homeless.
